Welcome to Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre

Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre has operated in Bingley for the last three years and has grown from one student to over twenty regular students.  My retention rate is extremely high, with some students opting for multiple weekly sessions.

About me

Hi, I’m Elizabeth

I have over twenty years of experience in tutoring.  I began working for a tuition centre while studying at Leicester University in 2001, being promoted to Head Tutor within three months.  This role continued until 2003, when I moved to live and work in France.

Several years later I started my own tuition centre in Birmingham, which I successfully ran for many years.  I left the area for West Yorkshire around ten years ago and have lived here since.

FEEDBACK

My son really hated maths, so much so that he was refusing to do his work at school, playing around to try and avoid doing it and getting sent out of class a lot (he is a nice boy honest just finds it hard when his work is too difficult). He wasn’t getting any support in school, so I contacted Elizabeth about some extra maths tuition.

My son settled really well with Elizabeth, which was a relief as he is very anxious and finds new places and situations difficult. After just a few weeks he stopped messing around at school and even asked me if he could go for a maths lesson with Elizabeth twice a week (at which I nearly fell off my chair!). If your child is struggling with maths at school and needs some extra support I highly recommend Elizabeth.

My children love Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre.  My sons attend weekly and look forward to their lesson all week. They are part of a group of five and their academic achievement has risen sharply since they started. They are now both well ahead at school and this has helped massively with their confidence.

The group sessions work really well for them, as the groups are small and so the students get plenty of support but it doesn’t seem too intense.  I stayed for the first session and Elizabeth is fantastic with the children, making learning fun – they also seemed to cover a lot of work in a relatively short space of time.  My sons were at ease very quickly, so I go and do my shopping in Bingley while they have their lesson!
